Welcome to my website. My name is Angel Solecki Arnold and I am a professional artist based in Ballycarry, Carrickfergus area in Northern Ireland. I am married to a Northern Irish man Nigel and I am also a mum of four amazing kids. My interest, love and passion for art came at a very early age of 2 years old. It all started with my grandfather who was an inspiration and he was an oil painter trained in traditional style. My memories of him and his art are very precious. Since then the dream was created to become a professional artist.
Throughout my life art featured along the way in schooling and home life. I have been selling my art since I left school and had many commissions. Currently I run an art club at a primary school for many years. Inspiring the next generation with creativity and introducing into the art world.
I specialise in portraiture as it captures the emotion, personality and a window into their soul through my paintings. Everyone loves animals and they all have their own personalities, especially pets. One of my favourite animals that inspired me onto becoming a professional artist where the highland cows in my area. I have always loved challenges and loved painting people since I can remember. Figure paintings, pet paintings and landscape paintings! I sell original artwork and now prints too.
